Dynalog will have a table top display to exhibit the DynaFlex product, its automatic accuracy and repeatability enhancement technology for robotic vision inspection systems or flexible measurement systems (FMS). Dynalog will also display several other robot calibration products, which also enhance robot accuracy and repeatability in a variety of applications. Dynalog staff members will be on hand at the display to answer questions about Dynalog products.
In addition to the tabletop display, Dynalog’s President, Pierre de Smet , together with Adil Shafi of SHAFI, Inc. and Neil Barlow of Coherix, will be participating in a 45 min. panel discussion titled “Using Robots and Vision as Inline CMM’s”.
Over the past several years, the automotive industry has begun to use robots and vision as in-line inspection systems. Using “Absolute Accuracy” calibration technology enables standard-off-the-shelf robots to match the accuracy and surpass the speed and reliability of in-line CMM’s.
The 2006 Vision & Robots for Automotive Manufacturing will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2006 and Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel in Novi, Michigan. This is an intensive two-day workshop that focuses on successful applications of machine vision and robotics in the automotive industry (such as auto racking, bin picking, 3D measurement, traceability, object tracking/visual servoing, error proofing and more). Industry experts will be there to provide knowledge that can be put to immediate use. Table-top exhibits during the workshop bring the latest in machine vision and robotics technology together in one venue.
Dynalog, Inc. is a US corporation in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan founded fourteen years ago by Pierre De Smet. “I started Dynalog to specifically focus on high precision manufacturing applications for which the typical performance of standard industrial robots is insufficient”, says de Smet. Our products turn off-the-shelf industrial robots into precision pieces of machinery”. For more information about Dynalog, visit the website at www.dynalog-us.com.
The Robotics Online Association (RIA) is a North American association that was founded in 1974 exclusively for Robot Manufactures, Robot Integrators, Robot End Users and researchers. Dynalog has been a member since 1997. You can find additional information on the RIA at their website www.roboticsonline.com.
