February 9, 2023: Robot TCP and Mastering Recovery
A Korean car manufacucturer in Mexico has selected DynaCal system for recovery of robot mastering and TCP. Robot mastering/TCP can be changed due to a crash or replacement of the end-effector or replacement of robot motors. DynaCal system quickly recovers the robot mastering and TCP thus saving valuable production time for the customer that would be required for re-teaching the robot positions after a crash or replacement.
 
February 20, 2022: Robot Zero-Position Mastering
A Japanese robot manufacturer has selected the DynaCal system to calibrate zero-position mastering of their robots for a plant in China. Every robot manufactured in the plant are calibrated for their zero position using the DynaCal system before shipping them out to customers. The DynaCal system accurately and quickly identifies the robot zero-position mastering.
 
April 1, 2021: Off-Line Programming of a Milling Robot
A Michigan based integrator has selected DynaCal system to provide robot-cell Absolute Accuracy and to enable off-line programming for their robotic milling cell. The robot-cell is simulated in RobotMaster and the milling programs, using various tools, are created in the simulation software. The DynaCal system is utilized by the integrator to identify the Absolute Accuracy parameters of the robot-cell, including the TCP, User Frame, and the robot geometric/non-geometric parameters. The DynaCal Filter Module is then utilized to compensate the milling robot positions created in the simulation environment to account for the differences between the simulation robot-cell and the actual robot-cell, providing the required high accuracy. 
 
January 9, 2020: Accuracy for Robotic Stone Sculpting
Dynalog's Dynacal system has been selected by an American Robotic Stone Sculpting integrator to provide robot-cell Absolute Accuracy and to enable off-line programming for their robotic stone sculpting cells installed in their plant. The integrator uses the DynaCal system to identify the Absolute Accuracy parameters of the robot-cell. Furthermore, with the identified robot-cell parameters, the DynaCal Filter Module compensates the large amount of robot positions created in a simulation environment to account for the differences between the simulation robot-cell and the actual robot-cell. The precision provided by the calibrated robot-cell meets the requirements of their stone sculpting process.
 
June 6, 2019: Certificate of Appreciation
Pierre de Smet, President of Dynalog, Inc. with offices located in Bloomfield Hills, Oakland County, Michigan was just awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his continued participation for the past five years on the Industrial Advisory Board at Lawrence Technological University.

March 7, 2019: NEW PRODUCT!
We are very excited to introduce our new product roPOD. This new product, roPOD, replaces the AutoCal product, and similar to the AutoCal system, provides the recovery of robot's TCP and zero-position-mastering after a crash, replacement of motor, replacement of end-effector, etc. The roPOD system is faster than the AutoCal system, and it has a much smaller foot print. September 18, 2018: A Japanese Robot Manufacturer Selects Dynalog's IdentiCal System
Dynalog's IdentiCal system has been selected by a Japanese robot manufacturer for calibration of their robots. The IdentiCal system is utilized to identify the robot's zero-position mastering, which is updated in the robot controller before the robot is shipped to their customer.

May 14, 2018: A Japanese Auto Maker Selects Dynalog's DynaCal System
Dynalog's Dynacal system has been selected by a Japanese auto maker in the US for recovery of their robot programs after a crash, moved fixture, replacement of robot motors, and replacement of end-effector. A reference signature of the robot-cell is acquired with the DynaCal system when the robot-cell is performing its production job accurately. After a change in the robot-cell, e.g. tool crash, the DynaCal system is utilized to identify the difference in the robot-cell signature compared to the reference signature. The differences are updated in the robot controller, i.e. TCP, User Frame, and Zero-Position-Mastering are updated in the robot controller, which recovers the robot programs to its previous accurate state.

November 14, 2017: An American Aeronautic System Integrator Selects Dynalog's DynaCal System
Dynalog's Dynacal system has been selected by an American aerospace system integrator to provide robot-cell Absolute Accuracy and to enable off-line programming for their robotic drilling cells installed in their Mexican plant. The integrator uses the DynaCal system to identify the Absolute Accuracy parameters of the robot-cell. Furthermore, with the identified robot-cell parameters, the DynaCal Filter Module compensates the robot positions created in a simulation environment to account for the differences between the simulation robot-cell and the actual robot-cell. The precision provided by the calibrated robot-cell meets the requirements of their robotic drilling process.

March 01, 2017: A Global Automaker Selects Dynalog for Robotic Accuracy for their Laser Cutting Application
Dynalog is selected by a global automaker to provide Absolute Accuracy, Temperature Compensation, and Guidance for robots performing laser cutting process. A robot-mounted sensor is utilized to acquire the calibration and guidance measurements. A robot-mounted sensor reduces the number of sensors required to perform the robot guidance process. These laser cutting cells will soon go into full production.

Ceramic based calibration targets are mounted within the robot-cells. The measurements of the calibration targets are utilized by Dynalog's DynaFlex software to identify the Absolute Accuracy robot-cell parameters. Furthermore, periodic measurements of the calibration targets are obtained automatically (few measurements during transfer of the car), and used to identify the change in the robot-cell parameters. The critical robot laser cutting positions are compensated for the change in the robot-cell parameters. Moreover, during each production cycle a few car datum features are measured by the robot-mounted sensor. The accurate location of the car is identified based on these measurements.

October 18, 2016: Research Study of Absolute Accuracy of Robots Using Dynalog's CompuGauge System
Polytechnica University of Romania conducted a research study to determine the Absolute Accuracy of Industrial robots using the performance analysis module of Dynalog's CompuGauge system. The CompuGauge performance analysis module is based on ISO-9283 and ANSI RIA 15.05 standards.
